Planets, stars and galaxies

New show in the Planetarium

The sky is populated by many celestial bodies, some visible to the naked eye. We discover how to orient ourselves among the stars, we learn to recognize the planets and we analyze their movement in the sky. With the help of the planetarium, the theater of the sky, we then go beyond naked eye observation, crossing the limits of our galaxy to appreciate the vastness and complexity of the Universe.

6 - 20 - 21 December / 10 January

Observational evenings

A unique opportunity to explore and learn about the sky from our terrace, in a place where light pollution is reduced compared to the city. On these evenings it will be possible to visit the interactive Museum, attend an introductory show on the season’s sky in the Planetarium and observe the sky with the naked eye and with the telescope.

In case of unfavorable weather, the part on the terrace will be replaced by a 45-minute show in the Planetarium (instead of 30) and a guided tour.

7 and 8 December 2024, with entry at 2.30 pm and 4.00 pm

FunLab "The astronomer's briefcase"

The sky is a great laboratory. Moon, Sun, stars, planets: but how does the celestial vault change during the day and in another place? In this activity we build the equipment to allow a first approach to the celestial vault. Choose from different instruments that can easily be built with poor and recycled materials.

26 and 27 December 2024 / 2 and 3 January 2025, with entry at 2.30 pm

FunLab "Robots on Mars"

Build and program a rover to explore the red planet and collect surface samples.

4 and 5 January 2025, with entry at 2.30pm and 4.00pm

FunLab "Safe Landing"

Every year new missions bring probes, telescopes, rovers and satellites into space. All these instruments allow us to investigate the cosmos and explore planets, comets and asteroids. The journey of a lander to reach another celestial body can last years, and once the objective has been reached, how can it land safely? We create a safe descent module in the laboratory, with easily available material.
