“Time and Cosmos”
Where do day, month and year come from? How do we set our calendar? Since ancient times astronomical phenomena have been used by man to measure time: the revolutionary motion of the Earth and of the other planets determines the duration of the year and marks the alternation of the seasons, the movement of the Moon with its stages defines the duration of the month.
