The Moon over Turin

October, 28th and Astrophysic Observatory of Turin organize InOMN, the International Observe the Moon Night.
It is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration.


During the event you can visit the interactive Space Museum, watch the Planetarium show Autumn sky, and visit a dome in Observatory observing the Moon through the biggest refractor in Italy.

In case of bad weather, the direct observation of the sky will be replaced with a historic visit to the dome of the Observatory.

The dome of the Observatory has architectural barriers: for any requests, please contact the Information Office.


Evening event. You can choose the time when you buy the ticket.

On October, 28th will be open from 2.30 pm following the schedulated activities.


– € 12 for person

– € 6 for children 3-11 years old;

– free for children under 3 years, journalists, disable people and helper; please contact the Ticket Office for the ticket:

Tickets purchased with a reduced fare will be accepted upon presentation of a document of identification.
Tickets buyed on Ticketone imply presale.




The tickets are sale online, between few days, on ticketone; in the ticketone stores or directly to the Planetarium in the days before the event during the opening hours of the Ticket Office.


The Cafeteria, managed by Cooperativa Patchanka, will be open during the event.

If you want to go to the Cafeteria, you have to buy the Museum ticket.

On the evening observation, the Cafeteria proposes Apericena. Booking is required.

Apericena with alcoholic drink: 12€
Apericena with non-alcoholic drink: 10€

Groups (at least 6 people) can require a dinner with table service. Dinner cost is 15€ for person and includes appetizer, triple course, dessert, bread and cover – drink excluded.
