Infini.to is a young and modern structure. The Planetarium and Astronomy Museum is a place of interdisciplinary awe and wonder, where learning paths at different levels and different degrees of depth can intertwine, always up to date thanks to collaborations with Universities, the Astrophysical Observatory of Turin, and other Italian and international Museums.
Infini.to boasts a modern digital Planetarium, new classrooms and update museum exhibitions.
New features make the teaching proposals more engaging, encouraging the creation of strong scientific skills.
The Astronomy Museum uses modern scientific exhibit language and tools: spectacular images, interactive exhibits, character guides, hypertext, sophisticated simulations, video installations and totem-archives. The goal is not to “educate” but rather to create experiential environments where the cognitive process is driven by visitors’ curiosity and interests.
Touching, experiencing and experimenting to live science in a direct way are the key ideas to understand the philosophy behind the structure and the activities. Space travel to Mars, simulations of Jupiter’s gravitational force, manipulation of magnetic fields, 3D visions of the Universe and “walks” among thousands of stars to retrace the latest cosmological discoveries, are just some of the possibile experiences at Infini.to.
Thanks to digital technology the spectacular projections moves visitors’ curiosity towards the discovery of astronomical topics.
The programs and shows, carefully planned and designed for different age groups, make the planetarium an extraordinary educational tool, a place where emotional suggestions lead to learning.
The Planetarium offers digital projections to observe the sky and celestial phenomena thanks to realistic voyages between stars, black holes, galaxies and unknown planets. You can travel back in time to the origin of the universe, the Big Bang, or in the future to explore the possible fate of the cosmos; an exploration that always fascinates the mind and is a challenge for the future of humanity.
Thanks to digital technology the spectacular projections engages the curiosity of visitors to the discovery of astronomical topics.
